Thank you so much for praying for our team and for Ukraine!

When our team members arrived in Germany last week, it was clear that we needed to gather humanitarian supplies to help the dear people of Ukraine. Stores are emptying out, pharmacies are closing, and many supplies are impossible to find. With the help of a few family members located in Germany, we began to form a team and contact every person we know who lives there.

We sent out a message asking for help and within a few minutes, we got a call asking if they could put the needs in the newspaper. We set up a place for supplies to be dropped off and were blown away by the turn out! People came and brought medicine, clothes, food, personal hygiene products, and more. We were also gifted a van to use for transportation back and forth to the border! People helped organize everything perfectly and loaded up the van.

During our trip to the border we witnessed inhumane conditions. There are lots of disabled people, children traveling without parents, instances of discrimination, and long lines everywhere. We saw many drained people with no hope in their eyes. We hope to find a facility near the border where we can help serve people. May God send us that place.

The team in Germany continues to pack supplies and make trips to the border. The team on the Ukrainian side is meeting needs and helping refugees. The lines at the border are days long and the needs are endless.

On a practical note, the van we are using is old and in need of mechanical work. We may need to look for another option for transportation, but it is doing its job for now – and we are thankful! Please pray that it would continue to work and not break down. Please also pray for the protection of our team members and for the Lord to strengthen each of them as they work around the clock to meet needs.

It’s such a privilege and blessing to see the love of Christ expressed through people all over the world. We plan on continuing to work to help get humanitarian aid to Ukraine. It is desperately needed right now.

If you’d like to help in our efforts, please Contact Us and we will direct you on how to best do that. Please continue to pray for Ukraine and for our team as we try to figure out the best way to share Christ’s love and meet needs.
